Villas Karalv - Bacalar

We stayed at Villas Karalv for a night and had a fantastic time. The location is amazing, with the opportunity to use kayaks and enjoy the peacefulness of the hammock and decking area. The rooms were clean and spacious, equipped with AC, a fan, and WiFi. It's just a short drive to the main square, where you can explore or grab a taxi. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we even spotted some lovely peacocks around!

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We were delighted to find that Villas Karalv had direct access to the beautiful lagoon. The covered deck with comfortable seating allowed us to relax and enjoy the fine views. I had an very nice stay at Villas Karalv in Bacalar. The villa had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was functional and well-equipped, the bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked perfectly and the wifi was reliable. The highlight of the hotel was the beautiful muelle overlooking the lake, where I could relax in a hammock and listen to the soothing sounds of the water. I also took advantage of the free kayaks and had a great time exploring the lake. The peacocks that visited in the morning added a good touch to my experience. The location was peaceful and just a short drive from the city center, where I enjoyed a delicious meal at Taco Loco. I highly recommend Villas Karalv for a nice stay in Bacalar.

Lakefront location, with free kayaks and stand up board. Reasonable price with fridge in room and smart TV. Instant hot water, unlike other accommodations in town. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Beautiful sunrise and opportunity to relax in nature.

The apartments were incredibly comfortable with wide beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The pool looked amazing, but with the pier right by the lake, we didn't feel the need to use it. The pier itself was absolutely lovely, especially for catching a breathtaking sunrise. The availability of kayaks was a bonus and we had a fantastic time exploring the lake. The location, though not super close to the town center, was still manageable by foot during the day or by a quick cab ride at night. It truly felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves - an unforgettable experience!

I had an incredible stay at this lakeside property. The hosts were welcoming and made me feel safe throughout my visit. The room was spacious, clean, and had its own terrace for enjoying breakfast. The highlight was definitely the access to the lake, with kayaks and a paddleboard available for free use. I loved relaxing on the lakeside dock, swimming in the clear waters, and taking in the beautiful views. Plus, the peacocks on the property added a charming touch.

Villas Karalv exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at this hidden gem in Bacalar. The value for money was really good, with a spacious room equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, with a private jetty on the lake and free kayaks to explore the beautiful surroundings. The staff, especially Sergio, were helpful and accommodating.
